Veronica Cherne is a licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy. She graduated from Hunter College with a Bachelors Degree in Psychology, learning that not only the body, but that the mind also plays a very important role in function and recovery. She then went on to obtain her Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from Touro College School of Health Sciences. She not only graduated at the top of her class, but was also the recipient of a Clinical Achievement award. Veronica has also acquired a Certification in Manual Physical Therapy (CMPT) from the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy (NAIOMT), perfecting her skills in treating orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions. Veronica is also taking Connect Therapy courses, an approach that assesses and treats the body and patient as a whole, looking at all the influences that are contributing to the patients dysfunction.
Coming from a former dance background has enabled Veronica to get in tune, and understand the art of body movement. She strongly believes in perfecting patients movement strategies to prevent future injuries and rehab current ones.
Outside of Veronica’s passion for Physical Therapy and helping people get better, she enjoys an active lifestyle consisting of running, biking, and weightlifting. She also loves to travel and spend her free time surrounded by
her loved ones.
