Nicky Triantafyllos received her Doctor of Physical Therapy from New York University. Prior to that she received her Bachelors in Physical Therapy from the University of Athens in Greece. During her years as physical therapist in Greece, Nicky worked extensively with patients experiencing a variety of orthopedic diagnoses and sports injuries, and completed her orthopedic residency in the General Hospital of Athens. Her extensive education, both in the USA ans Europe allows her to think outside the box, enabling her to apply a functional evaluation approach and provide a customized one-on-one treatment using a balance between therapeutic exercise, manual therapy and incorporating a Pilates based treatment program.
As a former swimming athlete, Nicky has an understanding of high performance and places emphasis on exercise technique and patient education. Nicky has a passion for manual therapy, sports rehabilitation and spine relate pathologies. She believes in treating the whole body to optimize each individuals physical functions and help them attain their goals.
Nicky is a Certified LSVT Big Certified clinician, specialized in treating patients with Parkinson disease. As a member of the New York Road Runners she has been a medical volunteer for the NYC marathon for the past few years.
