Myriah received her Bachelor of Liberal Arts degree from Eugene Lang College and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Hunter College. She is dedicated to a regular yoga practice (primarily iyengar and vinyasa) and has refined her body awareness through training in trampoline, trapeze, pilates, and gymnastics.
Myriah has a passion for helping people heal with the power of their own bodies; she brings her interest in alignment and control to her physical therapy treatments.
Myriah has undertaken continuing education in Myofascial Release, Visceral Mobilization, and Back Education and Training and has studied the application of yoga to physical therapy treatments. Myriah has worked in a number of outpatient settings with focuses on sports rehabilitation and neurological conditions. Most recently she worked with homebound patients focusing on balance and post-surgical rehab. She is happy to join the team at Grand Central Pain Relief (Beyond Back Pain) to be able to work with a holistic and team oriented approach toward patient care.
