Cemre Crowley, PT, DPT, CSCS, Cert MDT, was always fascinated with understanding the brain and its function, which led her to complete a bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience at Dickinson College. Following that, she earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from New York University. She is also a certified strength and conditioning specialist.
Wishing to expand upon this base, and having a strong interest in addressing the root of the problem Cemre sought further training in the Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy also known as McKenzie method. After a long course of study she earned her certification and plans to seek out further specializations.
Cemre approaches problems holistically generating treatment plans, which combine manual therapy, taping, functional strengthening and addressing posture and body mechanics as needed. One of the most important aspects to her approach is to educate the patient, and work with them in order to eliminate and prevent pain.
Outside of her love for physical therapy and helping others, Cemre enjoys skiing and is interested in learning more about photography and practicing tennis.
